StarBright Learning Exchange Inc.

The Lemon Tree Children’s Centre is operated by the StarBright Learning Exchange, a not-for-profit organisation established to provide early childhood education and support for orphaned children of South Africa affected and infected by HIV/AIDS.

We have seen and heard of the devastation caused by HIV/AIDS and its effect on economic and cultural stability. StarBright believes children who are nurtured and educated from the earliest age are offered a brighter future. These possibilities are not afforded to AIDS orphans and many children living in severe poverty in South Africa.

StarBright aims to provide support, resources and training for preschool programs for young orphaned and disadvantaged African children, so that they will not be the forgotten ones, stigmatized and marginalized. The Lemon Tree Children’s Centre will be helping to fund the StarBright Learning Exchange program in South Africa.
